The XM28E4 “Grasshopper” Riot Control gas mask is a scarce mask made famous during the latter stages of the Vietnam War, when CS gas was used to flush out the Vietcong from their underground tunnels. These gas masks were commonly donated to police departments after the war for riot control use, where many sat in storage.

Our inventory is comprised of new and used gas masks held by various police departments for decades.

Note: All XM28 gas masks have a small bridge of white plastic inside the nose cup that cracks due to age. This piece doesn't serve a vital purpose and does not affect the masks external appearance or function.
