the DBAL-A3 class 1/3R Civilian Visible Green/IR Laser Sight with IR Illuminator from Steiner Optics is a durable yet compact multifunction laser aiming device that incorporates a green aiming laser, an IR aiming laser, and an infrared LED illuminator. The Dual Beam Aiming Laser (DBAL) features independently adjustable lasers that allow the operator to choose the output mode and correct the impact point of each laser. A powerful IR LED provides an independent illuminator. This configuration of the DBAL is outfitted with a green aiming laser that is visible without NVDs up to 50' away during the day and 820 yards at night. For covert operation and use with NVDs, the DBAL has an 835nm IR laser that can be seen out to 275 yards, day or night. The IR illuminator enables target designation or allows users to flood the night vision scene with infrared light owing to its adjustable beam angle from a tight 2° spot to a wide 30° flood. This entire laser/illuminator system runs on a single included CR123A battery.
